Roy Lambert NLH Associates | Just copying c9Mb from one PC to another over my wireless network. I was "rewarded" with a time to copy of over 46k days.
Is this some sort of record? Roy Lambert ps It didn't actually take as long as Vista said it would <vbg> |

Barry | <Just copying c9Mb from one PC to another over my wireless network. I was "rewarded" with a time to copy of over 46k days.
Is this some sort of record?> I'm afraid not. When it actually DOES take 46k days, then it will be a world's record, so let us know when this happens. I think if you set up two telegraphers, it would be faster sending the data by Morse code, transcribing it, and re-entering the data manually. Even if the participants had to learn Morse code. Barry In case those reading this post haven't worked it out, 46k days = 126 years! I'm not sure what version of ElevateDb Tim (or his great grand-kids) will be working on in 2139, but I bet it will be really cool. |
