Tim,

Let me be the first to say you've done a great job in implementing the new features of EDB v2.12 B1.

I really like the shared memory tables and I'm itching to try them out, especially on your 64-bit server. The idea of having a C/S database in 64-bit memory with replication has to be one of my most sought after features of any database. It may even put MySQL to shame. <vbg>

I also like the SQL Create syntax in EDBMgr for all the objects. I'm going to be using them a lot.

Keep up the good work in making ElevateDb even better. Smile

Thanks. Smile

I did, however, screw up the Unicode server builds (FastMM4 error), so a
build 2 is coming out today to fix that.

Will do - next up, nested transactions.

Tim,

When do you think we'll see integer (binary) GUID's?

There's some kinks that I still need to work out at the VCL layer, so I'm
not sure.  At this point, I'm just implementing new features pretty much in
the order of the stack and as fast as I can code them.
