>It may have to do with the creation order of the components on the form. Another db product I used (not Tim's) had a strict order in which to drop the components. So if you later cut and pasted these components and you relied on the settings in the object inspector, it may fail to start. That's why I always initialize the database components in the correct order when the data module is created. BTW, the utility I mentioned also compares DFM text files.
