A reflection on iTunes rather than ElevateDB. I'm in recruitment, working in a home office and spend quite a bit of time cold calling. So to help I have a bit of music playing on my PC (I can mute it easier than my stereo set if a call gets anywhere) and since I have an iPod I've been using iTunes.

I'm now using Simple MP3 player because .....

With iTunes running moving between records on my call screen takes around 4.5 secs, without it less than 0.5 secs.

That's one hellua impact on the PCs performance. OK its running Vista but a T9300 with 3Gb RAM shouldn't slow down like that.

Hi Roy was watching Dragons Den last week, a guy wanted
investment for a similair thing to iTunes download.
His software however was supposed to be superior to what
Apples is. He mentioned that the next track doesnt play before
the other has finished a problem on my iPhone and desktop
iTunes player. So I guess the nix conversion from Mac to Win
screwed up.
Now onto your call software did you build it yourself ?
Does it recognise the phone number and enter an address ?
Whats the one aspect you implemented into it that you felt
most pleased with when you discovered it worked ?

Its not call software it a fully featured executive search recruitment solution Smiley

Most of the time I don't care what the address is. That only becomes important when a company becomes a client or a person a candidate or potential one of them.

Whichever bit was giving me grief most recently and is now fixed!

1980's I had to go to 02 when the iPhone came
out anyway he got a call from them asking for me

classic. I wish I could talk to tele-sales guys like
that. I get his point tho he corrected all that sometime

cant stop unsolicited calls their end and he is so loyal

that Genius downloading stuff in the background.
