Friedrich,

My apologies for the long delay in getting back to you on this.  I've found
the issue and the upcoming new build or release (possibly 2.03) will correct
the problem.  Internally a read-only flag is not getting set properly, so
EDB isn't falling over because it is trying to open the files
read-write/fail/read-write, instead of read-write/fail/read-only.

for the moment i have managed the installer to set all files read only,
this works for me so i can wait
