Julio Saucedo | Hi,
I installed the trial version of the elevatedb net provider, and after give it a try, I uninstalled it, but now I can't see the dialog of "Add new connection" in VS, because an error that appears with the message "Could not load file or assembly 'elevate.elevatedb.data' ...". I searched in the gac but I don't see any elevatedb reference, also I delete the references to elevatedb in the machine.config file. Please someone could give me a clue of what archive/entry is neccesary to modify to correct this problem? TIA Julio S. |

The machine.config entries along with all registry entries that register the EDB .NET Data Provider in the VS IDE should be removed automatically during the uninstall. You can see for yourself in the attached Inno Setup script, all of the registry entries include the uninsdeletekey option. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com Attachments: setupscr.iss |

Julio Saucedo | Thanks Tim,
My mistake... I chose the uninstall of the trial of vcl components and not the DAC trial... Now is working, sorry. Thanks Julio. > Julio, > > << I installed the trial version of the elevatedb net provider, and after > give it a try, I uninstalled it, but now I can't see the dialog of "Add new > connection" in VS, because an error that appears with the message "Could not > load file or assembly 'elevate.elevatedb.data' ...".
