Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Roy,
<< Can we have time taken for operations like create table jolly as select False as _xInproject, _ID, _Name FROM nlh.companies with data >> It's already on the list, and I tried to get this in build 7, but there are architectural issues that are preventing it from happening. DDL statements are simply not set up for progress/status updating, by default. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I'm trying out a couple of different approaches to improve an issue (editable canned result sets would be the ideal solution....and duck) and whilst I can count to see how long I can only discriminate to the neatest 3 secs So a simple GetTickcount before and after would be good enough for me right now. Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Roy,
<< I'm not so bothered about progress reporting just how long. >> Sorry, I didn't explain that well - the progress tracking in EDB also does the timings. It's a universal progress class. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
