It's already on the list, and I tried to get this in build 7, but there are
architectural issues that are preventing it from happening.  DDL statements
are simply not set up for progress/status updating, by default.

I'm not so bothered about progress reporting just how long. I'm trying out a couple of different approaches to improve an issue (editable canned result sets would be the ideal solution....and duck) and whilst I can count to see how long I can only discriminate to the neatest 3 secs Smiley So a simple GetTickcount before and after would be good enough for me right now.

Sorry, I didn't explain that well - the progress tracking in EDB also does
the timings.  It's a universal progress class.
