Odd AV with stores containing a particular backup file |

Malcolm Taylor | A user has sent me an EDBBkp file created with my current software
version using 2.03.b8 (U) If I copy that file into any one of my stores, I get an EDBError AV ... read of address 00000000 as soon as I execute: SET BACKUPS STORE TO "' + storename + '"; ...followed by.. SELECT * FROM "Backups" ORDER BY "Name"; Remove the file, no AV and all runs as expected. Why might adding a file to a store prevent a listing of backups? There are many other backup files and the name seems legal - editing it makes no difference - normal attributes! -- |

I am guessing that EDB validates the backup files in some way? Maybe the file, and a replacement one sent by the same user, got mangled in transmission? I have never had any such problem before. -- |
