Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Roy,
<< In the treeview Open database, double click Tables to open the list and the table that ends up under the cursor is opened >> I'm not seeing that here. I'm doing this: 1) Double-click on the database name to open it. 2) Double-click on the Tables node to open it. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Anyone else out there? Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Uli Becker | Roy,
> Just checked again in case it was me and definitely getting it here. > Anyone else out there? Here I am. Yes. Same here. 1) Double-click on the database name to open it. 2) The database opens and at the same time the table which is now under the cursor. Condition: "Double click to open objects" = checked. Maybe that's the difference, since a database opens by double clicking it anyway. Uli |

Uli Becker | Roy,
sorry, Tim replied: << 2) Double-click on the Tables node to open it.>> Thus the "Open on Double click..." option must be switched on. Anyway I can confirm what Roy wrote. Uli |

Uli Becker | next correction:
the problem occurs when double-clicking the tables's node, not the database's node. Uli |

>Thus the "Open on Double click..." option must be switched on. I forgot to say that bit. I just assumed it was obvious - I am a moron Roy Lambert |

<< Condition: "Double click to open objects" = checked. Maybe that's the difference, since a database opens by double clicking it anyway. >> Yeah, I have the checked. I'm still not seeing it. I did fix an issue with the right-click select, which wasn't working correctly, so I may have affected this also. I'll double-check with the actual release version of the EDB Manager. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
