Roy and Ulrich,

<<Is that twenty thousand copies? If so wow! and what are you selling?>>
<<I was just asking the same.>>

Yes, twenty thousand copies. We develop medicine database with goverment prescription and payment rules. Our software (RxMediaPharma http://www.rxmediapharma.com) runs yearly membership and we sold app. 25.000 copies every year.

We used DBISAM since 2001. In 2010, We change database system DBISAM to ElevateDB. But we have a lot of problems:

1. Special Turkish Chars (Cedilla added to c and s, breve (aka hook) added to g, dDieresis added to o and u, Undotted lowercase i added, capitalizes as undotted uppercase I, i, İ dotted i retains the dot when capitalized.),
2. indexing, searching and sorting (http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/turkish-i18n.html)

Microsoft can not solve these problems. Can you solve it?

Thanks

If you want ElevateDB to work just like DBISAM in terms of how the indexing
works, then all you need to do is make all index columns use a Turkish
collation with the accent-insensitive flag (_AI):

http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=edb2sql&topic=Internationalization

That is the only difference between DBISAM and ElevateDB in terms of the
Turkish collation. The rest is up to Microsoft and the Windows operating
system.

I looked up your web site hoping to learn something (you are doing something very well) but unfortunately I do not understand Turkish. I am limited to English only.

I am very interested in Rules Management System. Do you use a Rules Management System in your applications?

I went my user office and run edbmgr.exe on user's computer. Error message screen attached.

Sorry, our application and web site is only Turkish.

<<I am very interested in Rules Management System. Do you use a Rules Management System in your applications?>>

We assign Turkish social security rules to each medine or medicines group. We don't use Rules Management System but we develop medicine reference library and drup interactions algorithm.

Can you check the users' registry ? Specifically, what does this value
contain:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sLanguage

?

Hmm, something is definitely weird here, but I don't know where it's coming
from. The issue is one of a duplicate locale ID (MYM) being returned by
Windows, and it shouldn't actually be returned.

Please send me a private email and I'll respond with a utility that will
list the locales being returned by Windows. I'll need you to then run this
utility on their machine, send me back the list, and then I can take it from
there.
