Mirco Malagoli | Hi,
Im tring to port an application from BDS2006 and EDB1.07 to RAD2009 and EDB 2 (trial). I have a db (1.07) with about 1,5GB of data that i can not lose. Starting application i receive the error 'ElevateDB Error #100 There is an error in the metadata for the catalog SoundEditor (The character set does not match the character set in use by the engine)'. How port database from 1.07 to 2.03 (also manually with manager)? Thanks for your help |

<< i use non unicode db with unicode component. This means that i cannot use unicode and non unicode db at the same time (the component is different)? Is this correct? >> Yes, you are correct. ElevateDB operates as only 100% ANSI, or 100% Unicode. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
