I am trying to purchase a migration from DBISam Client Server with
source code to the equivalent ElevateDB. I have purchased DBISam C/S
with s/c in 2002 and upgraded it to release 4.xx in 2006.

"Customers that currently DBISAM Client-Server and DBISAM
Client-Server with Source Code can migrate to the equivalent version
of ElevateDB for $159.00."

I received a reply that I can only migrate to EDB DAC Standard because
I own DBISAM ODBC Standard !?

Is this normal? Have I read well what Elevatesoft said in the
newsletter?

I talked to Sam and she indicated that you are all set now.  The issue was
that Sam was unaware that you owned the VCL CS w/ Source product.

I understand, that part is normal, acording to the "the cobbler's
wife" proverb.
