Is there a way to get the column information like the collation in the IDE to save having to fire up EDBManager?

No, not really.  I can see about adding this type of thing to the
design-time components, though (double-click on the component).

Me being thick how do I double-click on the design-time components if I'm not in the IDE?

Or are you really saying yes and this is how Smiley

The latter - it would be something that can be brought up via the
design-time component, although I forgot that double-click already brings up
the Fields Editor, so it would be right-click and then select from the popup
menu instead. Smiley
