Thread Creating ELEVAEDB tables using additional utilities

METTRIX

I'm getting back into doing some DB programming. Previously I used DBISAM but this time I'm trying out
ELEVATEDB. With DBISAM I used the additional utilities to create and edit my table visually. I have downloaded the ADD utilities for ELEVATEDB but don't seem to find a similar tool. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

Thanks.

The tool you need is EDBManager which you will have if you've downloaded the additional utilities but things have changed a bit Smiley

You can no longer just pick a directory and start creating tables. There's a nice tutorial in the .pdf help file that's worth reading to get you started.

As Roy indicated, you want the ElevateDB Manager that is included with the
ElevateDB Additional Software and Utilities download.  There is a tutorial
on using the ElevateDB Manager to create a database here:

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
