Thread Restore catalog from backup

Hello

Is there any situation where it is useful to *not* restore the catalog, in a production environment? I am using the great source code that comes with EDBManager, and I would like to set the default to True, then thought that maybe the check box is redundant, in production.

I look forward to hearing your views.

Regards

Peter

Sure, in a situation where you only want to restore the table data, and the
structure (columns/indexes) *for that particular table* hasn't changed.

In situations where you're restoring the entire database, then it's usually
a good idea to restore the catalog also.
