I am using an INI file. It is easy to configure, easy to deploy and easy to anyone change. Don´t use letters. Use instead of an UNC path (\\server\sharename\sharedfolder) Eduardo |

<< I will distribute an application with elevatedb (local, not server). What must I do, when the path and drive letter change ? >> If you look at the sample CDCollector application provided with ElevateDB in the \Examples\CDCollector subdirectory, you'll see how to set up the database to adapt to the current installation directory in the data module for the project. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
