Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Stefano,
<< I want to create and manage structure (create, alter, update tables) of a database all in scripts; Is possible this? >> Sure, although scripts in ElevateDB are quite a bit different than the semicolon-delimited scripts in DBISAM. Check out this section of the SQL manual on the syntax: http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=topics&id=edb2sql§ion=sql_psm_statements Basically, scripts look like this: SCRIPT(<Parameters>) BEGIN <SQL/PSM Statements) END << IS possible to insert several script into one file? Is possible to call a script from another script? >> No, and no. You can call stored procedures and functions from scripts, but not other scripts. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
