Thread Exporting to Access using Scalabium's SMExport controls

Is anyone else using Scalabium's Export components to export from ElevateDB to Access?  (Roy????)

I'm using Delphi 2009 unicode with ElevateDB Unicode.  When I export to Access using Scalabium's TSMExportToAccess component, my VarChar fields double in size (plus 2).

For example, a 30 character ElevateDB field becomes a 62 character string field in Access.

Anyone else had any experience with this?

Thanks,

Dale

I have Mike's import suite but not the export suite, however, my guess is that its set up non-unicode so its treating each byte as a character when it should be 2 bytes per character. I'd suggest posting on Mikes forum he's usually very good about helping.

Hi Roy:

That's my guess as well.

I'll have to check.  I've got both of Mike's components, but didn't use 2009 much and focused on D2007 and XE right now.
