Exporting to Access using Scalabium's SMExport controls |

Dale Derix | Is anyone else using Scalabium's Export components to export from ElevateDB to Access? (Roy????)
I'm using Delphi 2009 unicode with ElevateDB Unicode. When I export to Access using Scalabium's TSMExportToAccess component, my VarChar fields double in size (plus 2). For example, a 30 character ElevateDB field becomes a 62 character string field in Access. Anyone else had any experience with this? Thanks, Dale |

I have Mike's import suite but not the export suite, however, my guess is that its set up non-unicode so its treating each byte as a character when it should be 2 bytes per character. I'd suggest posting on Mikes forum he's usually very good about helping. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Hi Roy: That's my guess as well. Dale |

Lance Rasmussen CDE Software Team Elevate | I'll have to check. I've got both of Mike's components, but didn't use 2009 much and focused on D2007 and XE right now.
