I had to re install my delphi 5 on my system I re-installed the two files for elevate db

204b3edbvclcsd5
204b3edbadd

Seemed to work ok but when I start delphi 5 I get this message :

"Entry point not found -  The procedure entry point @Parentagesupport@TSprig@FindItemByPath$qqrx17System@AnsiStringo could not be located in the dynamic link library dsnide50.bpl"

I tried a couple of times but I'm getting the same thing. I wonder what I'm doing wrong here?!

Thanks for youf info !

When I get a message like that its usually because ne of my homebrew packages doesn't have the right reference to ElevateEB (or WPTools or something) eg it may be referring to 2.03 not 2.04

Thank you Roy.

It turned it to be something stupid on my end. I thought I had always used 2.04 but I decided to check the release dates on the versions just in case and there staring me right in the face :

"Delphi 5 requires the Delphi 5 Update Pack"

Forgot all about that. Installed the update pack and that took care of it. Next time hopefully I'll remember that part.

Thanks for the info and quick response, though - it at least started me looking!

Jeff
