First check that you have edbcomps.dcu on your computer then check if that's on the library path. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

It should be in the same directory as the remainder of the code and should have been installed with it. If it hasn't been I'd suggest emailing Tim about the issue. I know the source for edbcomps is part of a purchased distribution, don't know if its in the trial since I've owned a copy since EDB came out, but its worth looking for edbcomps.pas as well. If that's on your disk add its path to the library path. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

<< I test the trail version from 205b3edbvcltrialr2009.exe and get a fatal error at "edbcomps.dcu not found". I have Delphi 2009 german. What can I do? >> As of January of 2011, our trial versions ship with design-time and run-time packages only (this is noted on the download page where you downloaded the trial version), so in order to compile your project with the run-time package you have to make sure to go into the Project Options and make sure that the Build with runtime packages check box is checked under the Packages tab. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
