Best field type for latitude / longitude |

Aaron Christiansen | Hi there
I am looking to store lat / long values in an EDB and am curious which field data type would be best suited to storing values along the lines of -37.8270253 145.1192291 without loss. I am leaning towards multiplying the values by 1M and storing in NUMERIC, but interested in others' take on this. Thanks! Aaron |

NUMERIC/DECIMAL types only go to 4 decimal places, so they probably won't work very well. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
