Startup server |

Hershcu Sorin | Hello
At another client I run the edbsrvr as application on a xp os. Since I want it run when the user switch on the pc I add a edbsrvr shortcut to the startup list. When the pc turn on, the edsrvr is running but the status is stopped. I have to press restore and start. I check the firewall. It's the standard xp firewall and the edbsrvr is on the exceptions lists. What else can I check? Thanks Sorin |

<< What else can I check? >> Check the logged events for the server configuration (SELECT * FROM Configuration.LogEvents). There should be an error in there describing what the problem is with starting the server. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

The server is started on stoped status and no event have been appended to the LogEvents. I open the server and press start and added the 2 events "Login to server" and "Start server" without any errors Thanks Sorin |

<< I try it and no error. I'll do some playing around here and see if I can reproduce this. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
