Marcus | If I run edbsrvr.exe as a windows service, what happens to the database transactions that are in progress when I stop the service? Can stopping the service corrupt my database? Or does it try to finish pending transactions before it terminates?

<< If I run edbsrvr.exe as a windows service, what happens to the database transactions that are in progress when I stop the service? Can stopping the service corrupt my database? Or does it try to finish pending transactions before it terminates? >> The EDB Server always tries to do a controlled shutdown, waiting for all threads to finish execution before terminating. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
