Francisco Fernandez NewTRON Informatica | Hi all.
I have upgraded to 2.05 b6 from 2.03 b21 and I have two questions. 1º In EDBEngine component properties I can see in "EngineVersion" 2.05 build 6, that's ok, but if in my app I ask for EDBEngine.EngineVersion it gives me 2.03 build 21. 2º The EMPTY TABLE statement don't shoot triggers? Thank's and regards. Francisco Fernandez |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | Perhaps you have a stray .dcu or pas file from the older version of the components hanging around somewhere in your project's search path.
Search for edbComps.??? in all the folders linked to your project. |

I've gone back to b4 because of a weird conflict between ElevateDB and FastMM with two of my tables so I can't comment directly but I'd support Adam. However, it does mean that you're using a different version of ElevateDB in the IDE than is compiled into your app which I think would be difficult unless you're using packages. >2º The EMPTY TABLE statement don't shoot triggers? EMPTY TABLE is meant to be faster than DELETE FROM. If it used triggers etc there would be no difference. Think of it (especially if you use IGNORE CONSTRAINTS) as the equivalent of deleting the files that make up the tables from Explorer. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Francisco Fernandez NewTRON Informatica | Adam, Roy.
Thank's for your help. I have uninstall, delete all edb folders and install again and now is working correctly. Thank's and regards. |
