Hi Tim,
we use AnyDAC for works with Firebird, Oracle, etc.... but we use also
DBISAM (fromv.1) and EDB. Please contact AnyDac for support EDB! So we have
one interface for all databases (that we use) and can switch them without
rewrite applications !!!!
Great products (AnyDac & EDB)
Good job,

I sent an email to DASoft, so we'll see what they say.

Stefano,

Dmitry replied to me, and we've got plans to work on this starting in July
or so.  It's not a trivial project, so we both have to clear our current
workloads first.

Hi Tim,
this is a way also for some potential customers for change from other
(expensive) databases to EDB (that is more flexible) , if the application is
the same...no?
For example, I like to have SQL-enterprise approach in the distribuite
applications for security and performance reasons, but I like to manage the
same data in direct table view at backoffice...
Thanks,

Yes, absolutely.  It's very similar to ODBC or ADO.NET in this respect.
