Thread EdbManager Editor Problem Version 2.05 build 9
Wed, Jun 1 2011 3:09 PMPermanent Link

George

I just upgraded our system from Version 2.05 Build 4 to 2.05 Build 9, and
using EDBManager inside (VMWare/Fusion) Running windows XP.

On opening a new statement window New.SQL, whenever I hit the backspace key,
the previous letter is not erased and a vertical var is inserted between
backspaced letters.

Example:
Original typed text:  This is a test

Then hit backspace 4 times, the result is:
This is  a t|e|s|t

clicking on other windows and going back to the New.SQL tab clears the
backspaced text, however, some images on the other window are now
superimposed on the New.SQL.  Looks like a refresh problem on the the
EdbManager statement/script editor?  This is not a problem in previous
versions.

Thanks,
George Patena

Yeah, it's the fix for the Chinese full-width characters - it broke the
painting.  I'm uploading a new version of build 9 EDB-ADD to fix this since
I can't do a 3rd build in almost as many days.

George,

Okay, there's a new EDB Manager up on the web site that fixes this - the
date/time on the download will be today.

Thanks for the prompt response.  All OK now on the editor.
