How to read (EDB server) log messages ? |

TonyWood | Hi All
I can see and open the EDBConfig.EDBLog file (i.e. with wordpad), but it's a binary file. What's the best way to read it ? EDB Manager->Explorer->Log Messages doesn't show anything. Also, will multiple edbsrvr instances happily write to the same log file ? thanks Tony Wood |

Raul Team Elevate | Select your session in EDBManager tree and on task list you should see "View Logged Events"
Explorer->Log messages just bring back "Log messages" window/pane on (usually bottom of) edbmanager window (and does nothing if it's already open) Raul << TonyWood wrote: Hi All I can see and open the EDBConfig.EDBLog file (i.e. with wordpad), but it's a binary file. Once you click on a session node, you'll see the View Logged Events task link appear in the available task links. << Also, will multiple edbsrvr instances happily write to the same log file ? >> Yes. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
