Tim,

Saw in an unrelated post on encryption that ED3 is still coming along.
Any plans for ED3 drivers that support Entity Framework V4 and higher?
Would be nice to use C# + Elevate in a .NET based server. It would also
be nice to be able to use EF+ED3 for a local database (assuming WinRT
includes EF) and as a main database on Azure to have an alternative to
SQLAzure.

Finally, is ED3 still planned as a single file database?

Thanks,

Sean

Yes, but this got postponed until the .NET stuff is reorganized.  Now, with
the availability of 64-bit DLLs with the Delphi compiler, the core engine
code is going to be split out as a standalone DLL, with the outer .NET code
layer (EDBConnection, EDBCommand, etc.) moving to Prism and adopting a more
MS-approach to packaging/development.  This will also allow for much easier
development of the EF layer.

Well, you can do that now.  You just can't use EF with the .NET data
provider.

Yes.
