I had a terrible attempted install of Delphi XE2 before christmas, which involved me totally re-building my PC & un-winding back to Delphi 2007 ... hum.

Delphi 2007 seems to be working fine, but I have just needed to rebuild an Elevate External Module (dll) & my code won't build saying there's an "undeclared identifier" ... I think because some of my "uses" units are missing.

The following units:

 edbtype,
 edbcommon,
 edbconsts,
 edbstring,
 edbparam,

Are in my uses clause, but I can't find them on my PC. I don't think they install with the basic Elevate Install? Perhaps they are something you have to add when you build external modules?

Can anyone give me a hint for how they are referenced & where I can download them or a BPL?

On my PC they are in c:\3rdParty\ElevateDB\Code. I can't offer to send cos I'm on D2006

Why not simply uninstall ElvateDB and reinstall?

I have the full source for EDB and the standard install path for them in
Delphi 2006 is:

%ProgramFiles%\ElevateDB 2 VCL-CS-SRC\Dev Studio (Delphi-Unicode)
2006\code\source

It may simply be your library path settings in Delphi.

Yup, I'm pretty sure it is just that! However, I can't fix it & I definitely don't seem to have these units!

... I'll do a full re-install & that should fix it Smile
