Marcio | I am finding great difficulty in migrating file DBISAM 1.0 to get open. I'm trying to do with the application and Elevate DBManager me the message: DBISAM Engine error # 12035 Data file C: \ TUTORIAL \ WINSTOCK \ PRODUTOS.DAT is not the corret version.
Please, anyone who can give me a hand, I was extremely grateful. Below is the error print with what's happening: http://www.wmesistemas.com.br/temp/print2.png Thanks for all. |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | I would strongly recommend upgrading your DBISAM tables from version 1.0 before you try to migrate within EDBMgr.
My version of the EDB Migrators only works for version 4.0 of DBISAM, not version 1. It is possible that there is a version of the migrator which works for version 1 of DBISAM, but I think you would be better off using DBISAM's "DBSys.exe" for versions 2, 3 & 4 of the product to upgraade your DBISAM tables first. |

Per email, there's something wrong with the source table files. They're reporting 22,000+ fields and other signs of corruption. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Marcio | Hi Tim,
But the strange thing is that the old application that accesses this file shows the information correctly. Do you think that this file format is actually DBISAM 1.0 or another version? Thanks a lote! |

DBISAM 4.x can upgrade all table formats back to DBISAM 1.00. The author of the old application would be the one to ask regarding what he/she used. It's possible that the DBISAM engine was customized. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
