Maybe I don't understand correctly if this should be possible, but after
creating a new session, why cannot I create a database within that session
(like the default session)?

Also, A 'getting started' page in the manual for a remote model would be
nice too (I guess this is work to do?). I don't quite understand how to
setup an EDB server thats points to a database and how to connect to it from
within an EDB enabled client application (D6).

I'm able to do so here.  What steps are you using to do the above ?

Same situation here, it works fine.  Are you not seeing a Create Database
task link on the right ?  Or are you getting an error of some sort ?

If you right-click with your mouse on the session name (verhuur), does an
options for "Create New Database" appear?
