I have a database works with XE, XE2. Now I updated to XE3. I cannot modify data any more.

Give me invalid pointer operation.

I attached sample project. you can compiled it and try to change any record, a error will occer. Please help.

I spend two weeks to update from XE2 to XE3. I do not want roll back to XE2 due to the local database issue.

Thanks,

Jianfei

Jianfei,

Are you absolutely sure you downloaded the EDB Unicode version (check the EDB file names you downloaded)? And if you're running the server, you're using the EDB unicode server? It is very easy to download the wrong set of components. Same with EDBMgr, it also has to be the Unicode version.
