Thread Can't connect to server using ElevateDB Manager

Peter

I recently updated my server to EDBServer 2.08 Build 3 and ElevateDB Manager 2.12 Build 2. Everything works fine on the server, I can open the manager and I see all the databases, tables, fields etc and I can run queries, etc.

But when I try to connect to the server from a client across the network I keep getting "Field 'CreateSQL' not found" errors and nothing will display properly. If I acknowledge the error then the program will only display 1 item, eg The first database, if I open the database I get the error and then the first table, If I open the table I get the error and then the first field and so it goes.

I think the database was originally created in 2.03 or 2.03 or something. I have been running the 2.07 build for a while and everything was OK. The problem has only appeared since updating to 2.08.

Thanks
Peter

From the EDB Manager downloads page:  "The 2.12 release of ElevateDB
includes some new system information columns that are used by the 2.12
ElevateDB Manager for retrieving the CREATE/DROP SQL statements for system
objects. If you attempt to use the 2.12 ElevateDB Manager with an older
ElevateDB Server, you will get errors."

To avoid the errors, you will need to either go back to the 2.08 version of
ElevateDB Manager (2.09 through 2.11 will work too), or update the server
engine to 2.12.
