This seems to be tied to Windos 7 and the BDE Migrator. I'd be curious
if anyone else with Windows 7 experienced this problem. A simple test
would be to follow along with the old blog post i made regarding
DBDemos.

Solved!

The issue is that the BDE writes to the root of Drive C:\ which is not
allowed in Windows 7. The fix invloves a few steps:

1. Create a folder called C:\BDEShare
2. Run bdeadmin.exe
3. Expand Divers
4. Expand Native
5. Click Paradox
6. Change NET DIR from C:\ to C:\BDShare (use the ... tool)
7. Right Click on Paradox choose Apply
8. Click Yes at the confirmation dialog

If this didn't work the first time then try right clicking on
bdeadmin.exe, run the "Troubleshoot compatibility" tool and try again.

On my machine bdeadmin.exe was located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE
