Peter Evans | Subject : The database X was migrated successfully - not
I have been using ElevateDB Manager (Unicode). Version 2.13 Build 3 I have been running the Task 'Migrate Database'. Today I got the message 'The database Sys was migrated successfully". It was not. No tables were migrated. I used :- Migrator = DBISAM 4 Database Directory = <shared drive> When I copi8ed the DBISAM database to a local drive the Migration worked. Is it possible to get a more specific error message? Regards, Peter Evans |

<< Today I got the message 'The database Sys was migrated successfully". It was not. No tables were migrated. >> If you don't specify the source database directory information properly, then it is possible for DBISAM to indicate that there are 0 tables to migrate. So, from the perspective of EDB, the migration was successful (not migrating any tables is not necessarily an error condition). Remember, with DBISAM there isn't a database catalog or anything else to indicate whether a particular database directory is *supposed* to have tables present, and DBISAM will return 0 tables to migrate for an invalid/inaccessible directory.
