Two questions:-

What is the ETA for XE5 support ?

Now that Android is supported in XE5, will there be a mobile embedded solution ?

Why are you bothering Tim with asking the ETA for XE5, now that it's been release???

It's my job to be the first one who pokes Tim's ribs when a new IDE is released and asks.  Wink

I like to kid Tim every IDE release, why he doesn't have it ready within a 1/2 hour of me getting my SA registration.

Looking forward to XE5 support.

Its soooo nice being stuck on D2006 - none of this anxiety when a new Delphi is issued. No worries about the new bugs being installed and a fatter wallet Smiley

I'm with you Roy. I'm still using my Apple Newton and I don't think those new iPhones will ever catch on. Smile

Nokia 3310 - and I only upgraded to such a modern one as that cos the older one broke (petrol lawnmowers and mobile phones should NOT be mixed).

Andrew,

Probably within the next couple of weeks.

I haven't analyzed the requirements for the next-gen compiler as it relates
to the EDB source code yet.  Once I've done that, I'll have a better idea of
what timeframe is involved.  I'm finishing up the EDB Linux port now (Free
Pascal), and will have the OSX port done soon after.

Cool!
I figure if EMB can put Interbase on iOS & Android, anything is possible (wrt databases on mobile devices).
