Migrate from v4 to EDB with Signature |
Tue, May 1 2007 2:10 PM | Permanent Link |
"B Miller" | I'm just starting to work with EDB and I thought I'd try migrating a
database that I already have. The EDB Manager won't upgrade my tables because I have a signature on them other than the default. Is there a way to do this? Do I need to put my signature in the EDB Manager and recompile? Thanks, B Miller |

David | I'm not sure if this will help or not, but Tim wrote this in the
dbisam.general newsgroup " Thanks. This next EDB release should put things in a very stable state and serve as a good launching point for the next round of improvements. The migration facilities in the upcoming 1.03 release have been vastly improved, with new BDE migrator support as well as migrator plugin support for any other external data sources." The improved migration ability in 1.03 may help. There is C:\Programme\ElevateDB\Additional\Version 1\libs\edbmigratedbisam4\source which had been apparently installed by the additional software. But there is no source.
