Beginner question - connection works from desktop but not from IDE |

Graeme Allon | Hi, please forgive what will no doubt be a flurry of questions whilst I get up to speed..
I have a small dedicated server in my office on which is running the server software. I have the manager running on my PC and this connects to the server nicely. However, I can't connect to the server from within the IDE (I get 1100 error, connection can't be established). XE2, 215b3, firewalls turned off, everything is ANSI and I've followed the instructions in the tutorial. Any suggestions would be gratefully received! |
