Don't think so since it would still need a verb before it called the function but nice demonstration of thinking outside the box.

The problem is with my typing. Some words I frequently mistype. I think its because the characters being typed by my left hand are nearer together than the ones typed by my right hand so when I should type select my left hand hist the e for the second time before my right hand hits l.

I have autohotkey and use it for several things, and I've used up the good key combinations. If I used it to replace typing select I'd save a couple of letters at best.  However, what I really need is to coordinate my fingers better hence my joke.

Oh, I see. Since English is not my mother tongue, I sometimes have
problems to understand the jokes.

Though I would recommend you this little script:

You'll save a lot of time and can use it to train your fingers. <vbg>

I try to avoid autocorrect as much as possible, but as I sit here I can think of very few occasions where I would want to type select no I meant select oh $%£&%t!!!!!
