Eduardo | I made 2 installs of the last version of EDBServer, one in windows 2003 server and other in windows 2008 R@ Datacenter
both the same way using /install switch I can connect from outside in both, everything works. However the 2003 shows the tray icon, and the 2008 does not. What is the difference? What should be done to make it show up? thanks Eduardo |

Raul Team Elevate | Apps can no longer interact with the desktop starting from Vista and
Server 2008 onward You can can use session 0 if you need to see and access the tray icon - basically enable interactive services detection and when you get the prompt then use it to enter session 0 (you might need to run explorer in session 0 as well in order to get to tray). See http://www.elevatesoft.com/bulletins?action=view&category=edb&bulletin=database_server_vista Alternative is to stop the service, run server interactively so you can configure it and then close interactive one and restart service.
