Managing Sessions |

Eduardo | I have a question on how to manage many sessions connected to the ElevateDB server.
I am starting a "pilot" installation where I have around 20 stores. I will have around 100 users connect. From this, 20 are automated programs, that keep connecting, reading and disconnecting (I am thinking in have a configuration for this program to not connect in certain time period, but I am not sure yet what is the correct time window for that, I need to force that for while) How does it work on ElevateDB when I need to make a maintenance on the database? I need to block the connections in a determined time window and connect to it for tables updates. The server is located in a datacenter, then I need to have access at least for the administrator to connect remotely, not only from the ElevateDB manager but from my table maintenance program. Any suggestions? |
