In that case you'd still need to share the folder from server to begin
with in order to get to files. No to mention that UNC path would be
different than config path relative to edb server (unless you plan to
share from root of drive which could be considered "bad" for many reasons).

Table would probably be easiest - stores are quite straightforward as
well but of course it needs to be setup and configured initially.
