RED unitn | Hi,
I am new to EDB; just installed the last version and can connect to Default session, but it's not possible with one created by myself. The usr/pwd prompt always refuse my attempts... As usr/pwd I am using my name and surname, all literals lowercase. Regards, Marco |

I assume you talking of crating and accessing the session in EDBManager. If so the steps are: 1. Create new session 2. Log on using the built in defaults 3. Create a user (the will be created in the Public role) 4. Grant any roles you want the user to have 5. If you want automatic login then edit the session and set as wanted Roy Lambert |

RED unitn | Thank you Roy !
yes, was creating and accessing the session in EDBManager. Creating a user through Default session now works. I was confused by the session creation wizard which give me the impression to also Create a user, not only recall one which must already exist. Best regards, Marco |
