Can you track down the edbmgr.ini file and post it here. Mine is in C:\Users\Roy Lambert\AppData\Local\Elevate Software\ElevateDB Manager

Ditto for the edbsvr.ini - mine is in C:\ProgramData\Elevate Software\ElevateDB Server

In addition to the other advice given here, I would also run ProcMon and filter files on "Path Name ends with .ini" to make sure it is opening the correct .ini file.

Confirmed through Process Monitor that it's opening the correct file:

C:\Users\John Easley\AppData\Local\Elevate Software\ElevateDB Manager\edbmgr.ini

The only difference I can see in that to what I do is I use the computer network name rather than localhost


I also have the server listening on all ports rather than just one.

Tried that and go a new error: ElevateDB Error #1100 A connection to the server cannot be established ("Socket error: no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. (10061, on API connect")

Hi John

Do you have a router in your network?

If you haven't done this already you may have to do what I had to do,
which is go into the router setup and redirect port 12010 to the local
IP address of the PC running the EDBServer.

I'm pretty sure this is all locally on same PC - 127.0.0.1 - based on
previous posts so router is unlikely to be an issue.
