XE8 32/64 bit install |

Carl | Just installed XE8 and EDB 2.19.
Went I went into the IDE, I noticed edbcomps could not be found in a (new) 32 bit project. I checked the libraries and found the 32 bit entries for Delphi and C++ were in with the 64 bit list, and not in the 32 bit list. So I moved the 32 bit entries to the 32 bit library list and the problems went away. Just wanted to share this in case someone was having a similar issue. |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Carl,
Per email, I think this issue is a problem with XE8. I tried to drop an Interbase component on a VCL form with XE8, and it also failed to add the correct unit(s) to the USES clause for the form. It's possible that we're doing something wrong, but we'll have to wait until I hear back from Embarcadero on this. Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
