Any way to make a backup of local database with password?

If the database is encrypted then the tables are backed up in their encrypted state which is why you don't get much compression. If you mean like a zip archive I don't know of a way that's local for ElevateDB. You could use pretty much any 3rd party tool (eg Acronis, WinZip, 7Zip) to backup the database with a password from outside your application.

Not at this time, no.  It's something that's been on the enhancement list for a while, though, so hopefully I can get it added soon.

Yes, the problem with encrypted data is that no compress file and 3rd tools are not valid if database is opened.

That's actually desirable - good compression is supposed make data look
random so no compression is possible on random data.
