Is this the latest, greatest version of your RTF text filter? http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=edb&id=edb_extensions&msg=73&page=1 Is there anything I should know about it, for instance, things that it won't handle? This is my first crack at implementing an RTF text search and can use any help I can get. Thanks, Dale |

I'm sure there are, but I don't know about them >This is my first crack at implementing an RTF text search and can use any help I can get. It should be dead easy. If its only rtf or html you want the extensions posted should work (I now have them in the lightweight dll's rather than the original format). If you want .doc etc you'll need some additional software - I bought SMWord from Scalabium. If you need help just post here. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Dale Derix | Hi Roy:
I got your RTF Filter working and it works great. I used your un-tweaked version (the one prior to the link in my original post). The latest RTF spec, 1.9.1 supports unicode, and I don't think your version does. If anyone adds it in the future (including me if I have time and can figure it out), hopefully they will post it in the forum. Dale |

Andrew Hill | Roy, I have a slightly off topic question.
I want to use your StripRTF.dll in a Delphi DX Seattle project that is not related to ElevateDB. I have an RTF file that when the text is exported from the RichEdit (cxRichEdit in this case which is only a wrapper) I get what appears to be artifacts left behind (I assume space) breaking up the integrity of the text for searching. Can I get your latest dll (source too if possible) and can you show me how to use it in normal pascal coding (not ElevateDB). I want to use it to get the pure text from the RTF instead of usung the RichEdit.Lines.Text. Thanks in advance - Andy andyhill@axfite.com.au |

I haven't touched it for ages so its unlikely the source has changed.
