Assuming you run a backup with "INCLUDE CATALOG" clause - what other
config files would you need to back up ?

(outside of edbsrvr ini for example that might be useful but would be
easy to reconfig)

Hi Raul

Yes, the edbsrvr.ini - I had actually forgotten that.

The EDBDatabase.EDBCat will be in the backup as long as it has "INCLUDE
CATALOG" option.

The real bother is the EDBConfig.EDBCfg which, as far as I know doesn't
get backed up (nor would I expect it to be).

Losing this means all your users, roles, user/roles, Jobs, migrators,
modules etc. all vanish or get deregistered.  This was the problem I had
- a corrupt EDBConfig.EDBCfg.

Cheers

Jeff

AND Databases actually!  All configuration objects as per "5.3 Creating,
Altering, or Dropping Configuration Objects" in the manual.

A way to back those up would be really good. I think I'd probably be
okay as I use DriveSnapshot (german tool) to image my web server, and
could get the files from that, but it isn't ideal for a quick restore.
