Looks like I'm first again...

It's been several hours since Berlin has been released.   Where's the update to EDB to support it?

Out of interest do you have any other non-source 3rd party components and do you pester them as well? <vbg>

It's the next version of Delphi - 10.1 Berlin - that was just released.

Naming hides the fact it's not an update to Delphi 10S but a full new
version instead.

Of course there is Update 1 for 10S so there is "Delphi 10 Seattle with
Update 1" and a completely separate product called "Delphi 10.1 Berlin".

Of course, I pester others....  <vbg>.

In my case, I just so happen to love to give Tim a bad time a couple times a year.

My main reason of my semi-annual question is to act as place holder for others who have the same question to monitor and wait for Tim to respond on a timeline when he's ready. Not to mention a little humor. Cuts down a little of the "Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet" chatter.

Back in 2014, Delphi XE6 was released on or about 15 April 2014.
ElevateDB version 2.17 was released on or about 17 May 2014. That version supported Delphi XE6.

I wasn't able to move to the new version of Delphi for those 4 weeks as I needed to compile with ElevateDB.

In the last week TMS Software has released a number of component sets and has a timeline of releases that support Delphi 10.1 Berlin.

I hope that Elevate Software will do the same.

Sometimes I'm in the middle of developing a minor release when these new versions of Delphi are released, and so there are delays.  I can't really keep my entire workload centered around two Delphi minor releases a year.  I just have to keep going as fast as I can on all of our products, and fit in the Delphi upgrades when I can.  This year is good in terms of timing, and the 10.1 releases will be out this week.

Thanks for the new IDE update, Tim.  And bonus that the timing worked out well.  I think this has been the quickest an EDB release has came since official launch.  This may be the fastest I'll be able to compile my main apps in a new IDE.  Sometimes I've had to wait 3-4 months by the time everybody got on board.
