(= current folder) would solve some problems. Each user would have his/her own configpath (Engine property), but the path to the database from there would remove the need for that path to be something that each user's computer can understand. One problem, of course, is that '.' would probably be interpreted as the exe folder. So, the EDBengine would need to get some extra functionality to interpret '.' as 'my own configpath'. There are probably many reasons why this can never work ... RoyJ |
